How can you resist that beautiful child? |
In other words, we should be saying Thanks, and Giving ALL year round! Of course we are human and we go on with our lives and tend to forget some of the important parts of life. We all need reminders. I certainly need reminded A LOT. Thank goodness I have wonderful friends who remind me, just by being themselves and Giving all year round. I get email reminders, photos and more to remind me. And I sooooo appreciate them all. So, hopefully you appreciate this reminder in my post.
The child in the photo is one of the children that benefits from Kids at a Crossroads. It is a wonderful small organization that helps children in Peru at the ground level! They do it with very little resources, MUCHO help from friends like YOU, and a lot of hard work. So, please help if you can. Every child deserves to be fed, loved, and taught. That is the basis of Kids at a Crossroads. It is run by an aunt of one of my dearest friends, so I have strong feelings about it.
As always, I encourage you to share your stories with me and everyone. Whether you give to Kids at a Crossroads or to one of your own favorite charities? Maybe you don't give to a charity, but to some other cause like a needy family? Families are certainly not charities, they are valuable resources to our survival and need replenishing at times. I really want to know what you are all doing this Holiday Season and in 2018 to spread the Cheer and the Love and the Wealth! And let me remind you, wealth comes in many forms, not just monetary form! I personally have a wealth of hugs! No waiting either. Please, Please, PLEASE share with me! I will start by saying...
Thanks to all of my friends and family and children who inspire me to try and be a better human everyday!
